For yearbook photos, and school sports team photos. I need to be able to say something to get a smile or laugh!

I was recently at a bday party and the photographer posted some unflattering pictures of me on a website. I asked to remove, but what if they dont. I am really embarrassed by the pics, I guess I’ll roll over and die. And chop it up as a learning experience.

Any suggestions as to what type of settings I should be using on my Digital Rebel XT? I’m trying to venture away from the automatic settings and I don’t want to be experimenting on the day of the pictures and risk loosing light since we’ll be shooting close to sunset.

All I can think of are Kim Anderson and Sally Mann.
I’m doing a project for college called the joys of childhood and i need to do research on famous photographers who mainly work with children. It’s better if the pics are more candid of children playing rather than posed photos

In march, I had my kids pictures taken at wal.mart picture studios in lowell arkansas. WE then unexpectedly had to move to ohio, the lady was supposed to forward them to us, but the pictures never showed up. I paid like $100 for these pictures and I really want them, does anypne know how I can get them?

I am in the research stages of my dissertation and would love some feedback on to what people think on painted and photographic portraiture. Is one medium stronger than the other? Does one make it an actual ‘portrait’ and the other just ‘Art’? Id also like your comments on how you feel how the genre ‘Portraiture’ has changed over time. Thank you.

Ok, so I’ve decided what us girls are doing for our bachlorette party! The things is, is I’d like to have a photographer follow us around and take pics of the nite of me and my girls as my last nite as a single gal. I’d prefer a female as this is a GIRL’S nite out!
